About us
Oh hey!
We, Laura and Eva, friends for over 17 years and now mothers of two children each, are looking forward to making your life a little more colorful with our kids concept brand Lukkily.
What does Lukkily stand for?!
#happycolours
Children love colors. That's why we at Lukkily focus on "happy colors". From lemon yellow to cobalt blue and lilac to bright pink. And that's completely independent of gender. Because we believe that colors are for everyone and should first and foremost be fun.
#unisex!
We do not differentiate between boys and girls when designing or in the shop. It is important to us not to use gender clichés. Neither in colors nor in motifs or fit. #unicornsforgirlsanddinosforboysnotwithus
#responsible
Responsible action is one of our highest values. But what exactly does that mean?
When designing and manufacturing our products, we try
1. to use resource-saving and certified materials, for example organic cotton instead of conventional cotton or to use only certified paper for our printed products.
2. to ensure that routes are as short as possible, i.e. to always produce as regionally as possible. Our posters, wallpapers and postcards are all printed in Germany, some even right on our doorstep. The hats are hand-knitted in Germany. The storage boxes come from a medium-sized company in Lithuania. The sweatshirts from Portugal. We only have the mom bag produced in China. So we have not yet reached our goal of producing entirely in Europe, but we are not perfect either and with 90% of products coming from the EU we are on the right track...
3. to ship as climate-neutrally as possible. We therefore ship all orders with DHL Go green and use the train to ship our mom bags from China instead of the much cheaper ship.
4. only work with manufacturing companies where we can be sure that they offer their employees fair pay and working conditions. In China, we therefore work with a supplier that we have known very well for over 10 years and who allows constant visits and on-site inspections.
It is important to us to be transparent: especially now at the beginning, it is sometimes not easy to make everything perfectly sustainable right away. But with every step we take, we question ourselves and do our best every day to do it a little better than the day before. #itsaprogress
